Multiplayer: What? No frogger?

MTV's Multiplayer blog, along with blog contributors from Kotaku and Joystiq, a Capcom senior producer, and someone from "I Can Has Cheezburger" have come together to debate a controversial topic that is highly pertinent to video games today. Who is the greatest reptile in video game-dom???

Slippy, Bowser, Yoshi, Frog from Chrono Trigger, and some random creatures all duke it out on the round table (somehow Gex placed second when the tallies totaled up). Slippy won the reader poll, but you gotta see the blog post to see who won over the panel.

Wii Wii: a video that has to be seen to be believed

It seems even blogs take the day off on memorial day because there are hardly any updates on the Wii blogosphere. The only exception would be this, a video that is mindboggling in it's construction and deserves to be seen at least once. It's kind of hard to explain what it is...okay not really, it's a level-editor Super Mario World thing but it's best to watch without any preconceptions (Also it's longer than 10 minutes but it won't seem so).

Wiifit: gettiing fit and so much more

Wiifit is not the official website for the Wii Fit (that would be this site), but rather a blog I stumbled upon. It has many entries on Nintendo's latest peripheral and a few reviews, including one that has the opinion from a professional trainer. Though, oddly, it also contains pretty random blog posts, including the all too familiar "Nintendo hyping the Wii with fake shortage" thoery (Though to be honest, it seems the article was originally somewhere from Kotaku.

Nintendo Channel goes the extra mile

MTV has a videogame blog called Multiplayer that covered the Wii's latest channel today. The "Nintendo Channel" allows you to purchase games, download games to the Nintendo DS, and make recommendations based on what you play and when you play it. There is a lot more to the blog post, including how detailed Ninendo is at summarizing games (Castle of Shikigami III - Welcome to the castle of nightmares!)
